Texting in Public Situations
Texting in public situations is becoming a much larger problem in society, as many people see it as being very rude and disrespectful. Many people my age and even people much older and younger are quickly adapting to the new found development of texting and other operations on mobile devices. People walk around all day with heir thumbs going crazy on their phones screen, and often times not paying attention to anything that is going on around them. Their have been many times where I have seen two people walking and bank into each other because neither one if them was looking where they were going due to the mobile device. While it is very comical for people around them to see, these people did not seem to to find it too amusing, however it was both their own faults. I have also been at several meetings or presentations when somebody has been called on to comment on the material and they have no idea what the topic even is, because they have been too focused with whatever they are doing on their phone. While this just makes them look very, very stupid, it also is extremely rude to the presenter or too others in the room. This problem is growing everyday and while may be funny to other people to witness, is not a good problem for our society to have.
